Zurich Indonesia continuously work to develop relevant products and services that help solve today’s most pressing societal and environmental issues. Some of the ways we have achieved this recently include:
Financial Inclusion: Parametric Insurance in Collaboration with Blue Marble Microinsurance. Zurich Insurance Group is a founding member of Blue Marble Microinsurance, a startup with a mission of providing socially impactful, commercially viable insurance protection to the underserved. Zurich General Takaful Indonesia has started a pilot project in Aceh with 1,000 coffee farmers to provide a non-traditional insurance product that addresses the financial vulnerability and help to manage risk of severe rainfall and drought.
Digital: Building Confidence in a Digital Society. Zurich Indonesia believes in making people and organizations more resilient through enabling and inspiring confidence in a digital society and delivering a resilient digital experience. There are some digitalization initiatives that have been done in Zurich Indonesia to maximize efficiency, and there are more initiatives to be done, such as:
- Data Commitment and AI Assurance (implementation of Data Commitment Dashboard)
- Info Security & Cyber Risk Services (minimize cyber threat intelligence and Aegis implementation)
- Digitalization & Resilience (implementation of digital initiatives and MVOE)
