Zurich and Home Credit Collaborate to Provide Digital Protection for Gadgets and Home Contents

Jakarta, 17 June 2026 – PT Zurich Asuransi Indonesia Tbk (Zurich) and PT Home Credit Indonesia (Home Credit) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership to provide more accessible insurance solutions for the Indonesian communities through digital services. Through this collaboration, both companies are committed to offering protection solutions for gadgets and home contents, that are seamlessly integrated into Home Credit’s digital customer experience. This initiative is aimed to help customers access towards practical and relevant protection, aligned with today’s lifestyle needs.

President Director of PT Zurich Asuransi Indonesia Tbk, Edhi Tjahja Negara, stated that collaboration accross financial industry is key to expanding insurance inclusion in Indonesia.
“Zurich believes that protection should be more accessible and closely aligned with the everyday needs of the community. Through this collaboration, we aim to provide a simpler and more seamless experience for Home Credit customers in accessing insurance protection,” said Edhi.

Meanwhile, Chief Product Officer Home Credit, Manu Pal, noted that this partnership aligns with the company’s commitment to delivering added value to customers through a more integrated ecosystem. “At Home Credit, our mission is to make great things affordable by enabling customers not only to access the products they need, but also to use them with confidence. Through our partnership with Zurich Asuransi Indonesia, as part of the MUFG ecosystem in Indonesia, we are integrating financing and protection to deliver more holistic solutions, helping customers both acquire and safeguard their assets, while growing stronger together as a group,” said Manu.

With the signing of this MoU, Zurich and Home Credit are committed to developing a range of digital protection solutions, including gadget protection against damage and unforeseen events, as well as home contents protection to help customers safeguard their valuable belongings. Through digital ecosystem, these protection services will be accessible to Home Credit’s customers across Indonesia.

Initially, the collaboration focuses on protection solutions for everyday needs, such as gadgets and home contents. Going forward, the partnership is designed to support the development of a wider range of protection offerings, adapting to evolving customer needs and lifestyles. This collaboration also reflects both companies’ commitment to supporting the growth of financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia through service innovations that are closely aligned with the needs of the community.
